Farm Owners

Heather & Chris and all of their critters…

Kyle Lane - Farm Manager

Welcome to the barn! I’m Kyle, and I’ve spent the last ten years working on farms, with the most recent four years focused entirely on running a horse farm. Farming and animal care aren’t just a job for me; they are a way of life.

Before my career in agriculture, I served in the United States Navy from 2012 to 2016. That experience taught me the importance of a strong work ethic, clear communication, and stepping up to the plate—all of which are essential when managing a busy equine facility.

I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Conservation, which ties perfectly into my lifelong love for the outdoors.

Speaking of the outdoors, when I’m off the clock, you can usually find me hunting, fishing, or practicing archery.

More than anything, I love sharing this lifestyle with my family of 5. I am happily married to my wife, Alissa, and i’m incredibly proud to be raising our 3 kids with an appreciation for hard work and the great outdoors.

Alissa Lane – Equine Health Manager

As the Equine Health Manager, Alissa is dedicated to ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of every horse in our care. With a strong background in equine management and animal care, she oversees all aspects of horse wellness, including nutrition planning, supplement programs, vaccination and deworming schedules, injury rehabilitation, and coordination of veterinary care.

Alissa is currently furthering her education in Wildlife Conservation and Animal Science. She brings a unique combination of discipline, compassion, and hands-on experience to her role. Her extensive background working with horses and livestock has given her a deep understanding of equine health and management, allowing her to provide individualized care tailored to each horse’s needs.

When she is not caring for or working with horses, Alissa enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and advocating for students and families through her involvement on two of our school district PTA boards. Her passion for both animals and community service reflects her commitment to making a positive impact wherever she can.

Alissa’s goal is simple: to ensure every horse receives the highest standard of care so they can thrive, perform, and live their healthiest lives.
