What a day we had!

Thank you to the nearly 240 riders who came out to enjoy the Locust Hill Fall Hunter Pace on this thankfully beautiful day. With so many riders we ended up backed up at the starting area and our start timers reported everyone was gracious and patient. We had a rider down on the course within the first mile and it caused another delay. We want to especially thank Faye Benedict of Fairbanks Stable and her team for aiding the downed rider and keeping everyone safe.

We made a time adjustment to the 6 teams who were held back on course. Email me directly if you want those details. TracyL@LocustHillFarmNY.com

We want to send a special thanks to all our volunteers without whom we could not have this pace. Big thanks also to the Pleasant Valley Fire Department for standing by during our event. We got the call about a downed rider at 11:21am and held up teams at the start. The Pleasant Valley team had the injured rider on a stretcher and safely off the course by 11:29am! Simply amazing.
